The fireplace is one of the coziest parts of the home, and one of the easiest to dress up for the fall. Display colorful rows of leaves and garlands overtop, pumpkins (either real or fake), as well as rustic wooden boxes and fall lanterns. Woven baskets can also add a lot of texture and bring more warm brown tones into the space.
When in doubt, just add more pumpkins. The addition of a small tablecloth or table runner beneath the centerpiece can create a more cozy aesthetic as well, bringing the space together and making it more inviting.
Though sometimes simple is better, as is the case with this set up from Deb and Danelle. Find similar chairs here. I love the candles and faux pumpkins on display in the centerpiece.
Never forget the ghosts! Make sure your home is filled with ghouls of all shapes and sizes! The more, the merrier! You can also find a similar hutch as in the photo here.
Another great idea for a fireplace is draping pretty garlands across the front. Ideas include these pumpkin fairy lights, or these fall leaf string lights. Find some cute fall pillows here. I also love the idea of adding a lantern or two in the space, or a pretty fall sign!

Stalks of grain are reminiscent of the harvest this time of year, and a great way to add some fall decor to an otherwise plain area of your home. A small skeleton and some bats with a pumpkin complete the space and make it ready for the fall.
You can never have too much fall decor! Lots of orange can make for a wonderful, brightened up home.
